First time access and setup
Call 310-285-1791, and when asked for an extension, enter the last 4 digits of your new virtual office phone number followed by “#”
When asked for a pin, enter the default pin, “1234” followed by “#”
You will be prompted to create your own voicemail pin–enter the pin of your choice followed by “#”
You will now be prompted to record your name–press “1” to start recording and “1” once finished
Press “1” again to re-record your name or “#” to confirm"
The initial setup process is now complete
Please note that extensions/pins entered too quickly may be read as “incorrect” by the system. If this happens to you, please try again, dialing your extension and pin a bit more slowly (only long enough for the number tone to have stopped before pressing the next button).
If you are still receiving an “incorrect pin” message, please email us at support@gbcone.com.
Creating a voicemail greeting
Call 310-285-1791, enter your extension (the last 4 digits of your virtual office phone number) followed by “#” then your pin followed by “#”
Once in the voicemail system, press “3” to access the greetings menu
Press “1” to create a new greeting
Unless you intend to set up multiple voicemail greetings for a single mailbox, press “1” when prompted for a greeting number
Following the tone, record your message and press “#” once complete, or “1” if you’d like to review/edit your greeting
Press “1” to use this greeting for all calls (the different call types listed next do not apply to the majority of accounts and are typically for internal use only)
Press “#” to return to the main menu or simply hang up
To test your greeting, we recommend calling your own virtual office number as if you were one of your potential callers.
If during business hours, let our receptionists know you’re a new member testing out your voicemail and would like to be transferred there. If after hours, calls to your virtual office number will go directly to your voicemail.
