Virtual Office Packages

Frequently Asked Questions

Does a virtual office require a long-term contract?

Nope! While we do offer pre-payment discounts for longer terms, our virtual office agreements are all available month-to-month. That flexibility is one of the greatest benefits of a virtual office.

That said, pre-payment is a great way for our long-term members to save–and they also make a great gift! If pre-payment doesn’t make sense when you start your virtual office, you can always modify your membership term at a later date to receive a discount.

Can I use a virtual office as my registered business address?

Yes.  Your Global Business Centers address is a USPS authorized PMB and can be used as your legal business address.

How long should I have a virtual office for my business?

This largely depends on the individual needs of your business. If your business sees rapid growth and dedicated staff becomes necessary, it may be time for you to transition to a full-time office space.

That isn’t to say you can no longer use our virtual office services the moment you sign a lease on an office–many of our members use a virtual office to supplement their physical workspace. Some use our Beverly Hills address as a second location and others use our reception service to connect their staff who works out of multiple locations.

If you do think it may be time to get a full-time space for your business, we have a few executive suites that provide the same full-service benefits of our virtual offices.

Is a virtual office tax deductible?

Yes.  As with other small business expenses, your monthly virtual office costs are tax deductible.

How long does it take to set up a virtual office?

While we ask that you give our staff two business days to set up your virtual office, much of the setup process is automated and begins moment we receive your order.

Typically, your account will be set up by the start of the next business day. You will receive a welcome email and a personal call from our onboarding team once all of your services are ready to go!

If you’re the type to plan ahead, you can purchase a package ahead of time and set an alternate “commencement date” at checkout. This can be particularly helpful for businesses just getting started who want to secure their phone number and address for marketing materials, but aren’t quite ready for the grand opening.

Can I receive mail and packages at a virtual office?

Yes.  All mail sent to our address is delivered to our mailroom. Even if the sender accidentally forgets your suite number, we’ll have no problem getting mail to you if it includes your full company name.

Unlike a PO Box, you can also receive package, courier deliveries, and personal drop-offs.

Our full-service mailroom also allows you to send mail and packages via USPS, FedEx, UPS, or DHL. Just let us know where you need something to go, how fast you need it to get there, and we’ll add the shipping cost to your next invoice.

What is a live receptionist?

Live receptionists are just that–our front desk staff who will answer your calls and greet any walk-in clients you may have. When they receive a call for your business, they will greet your callers with the greeting provided and any other information you provide us and authorize to make public.

If a call requires your attention, they will dial the number(s) you’ve given us and provide you with the caller's information, and allow you to screen it. At this point, they’ve only let your caller know “they’ll try to reach you,” so you can choose to accept or reject the call.

If you choose to accept the call you’ll be instantly connected. If not, our receptionists will be able to direct the caller to your voicemail or pass a brief message back to them (such as “you’re in a meeting and will call them back after”).

Unlike a call center where the person answering your calls could be anywhere in the world, our staff stays long-term and takes the time to learn and understand your business.

Put simply, it's the closest thing to hiring your own personal receptionist–all for a fraction of the cost.
